Crestmont Ltd is the UK’s largest worm farm.

We specialise in vermicomposting using a variety of worms to digest waste materials and turn them into pure worm cast.
This no simple process and it is not a quick one either, but the end result is pure, completely organic, as natural as it comes, worm cast compost.  This is the stuff that nature uses to recycle all the nutrients in dead and decaying organic matter from whatever source, animal, plant or insect and makes them available again to plants in just the right amounts, and as safe, slow release compounds to nurture the plants throughout their growing season.
Thus nutrients are recycled and that is what we at Crestmont are doing.
The pure worm cast is mined from our wormbeds, and dried and then sold either in its pure form as 100% pure worm cast, or in various blends of high quality composts ready for use.
100% pure worm cast should be diluted with 4 times its weight of soil to provide the perfect growing medium for all kinds of plants.  Its effectiveness will last the whole growing season with often dramatically improved results.

EXPERIENCE
Crestmont has been trading since 2003.
Part of a large arable farm, we occupy 20 acres at 2 sites where outdoor worm beds are erected and regularly fed with various materials.
Employing 3 people we are busy vermicomposting and looking after our worms.
We have our own experience in worm farming, where we have experienced a steep learning curve; and in addition we now have a network of experienced advisers who are keen to help spread the worm farming word.

Broadland Multipurpose is a fine grade multipurpose compost containing wormcast
It requires no sieving, having been carefully graded, and it has the correct balance of nutrients to start off all your seedlings.  Simple, tidy and effective.  Organic, recycled and peat-free, every gardeners dream.  Simple to use, just pot up, plant out, water and stand back.

Broadland  Woodland Mulch –  40 litre bags. Attractive mulch for weed control and tidying borders and beds, paths and rockeries.

Broadland Soil Conditioner Compost – mix at 30% with soil or other growing materials – 40 litre bags for all your tired soils.
